I need to get a pair of wing spar saddle clamps made and I need the material specification. Any information would be appreciated.
Some appear to be steel ,others alloy

Re: Nipper trailer
Jim. Thank you for taking the time to reply and in such detail. I take your well made points. Whilst I do have a 400m strip it certainly isn't the place to be conducting the first flight of a Nipper from. Nipper trailer

Re: very high oil pressure
Mine is the same quad gauge and I did try a mechanical gauge when I had the low pressure problem . Since it agreed at low pressure I have assumed that it's correct at the high pressure end-hope I'm right.

very high oil pressure
I have an unflown Nipper with a 1834 VW. The small amount of paperwork that I have relating to the engine indicate that it was built by the owner before last from a Mexican crankcase which Barry Smith machined for the larger cylinders and supplied bearings, gaskets etc. The engine has two oil pressu...

Wing step
The widow of the previous owner is kindly still trying to locate the drawings for my aircraft ,but in the meantime we could do with some help with our wing step . Instead of being rectangular it angled into the wing at about 45o outboard. The trailing edge does not protrude behind the wing . There a...

Re: New old Nipper

What a difference it makes to get the engine going. Its little heart is beating and the smell of warm oil ...
