Re: Nipper grouping
Now that looks like a good idea - i'll have to look at tapping off the ducting inside the cowl though, as the Jab is fully cowled.
Or i move somewhere warm.

Re: Nipper grouping
Hi Des, The recording g meter might be a good idea. Standard practice with a normal one, is to not reset it on landing ( but someone could reset it and hide an overload) I think equity will have to be the way to go. There is the possibility of someone knackering the engine, then just walking away. W...

Nipper grouping
Hi All. I'm after your general opinions here. Due to my nipper being so far away, I'm not getting to fly much. I have been considering grouping the aircraft at Breighton. A number of people have shown interest in having a share, either equity or on an insurance share basis. The logical approach woul...

Re: Prop
Hi,
I got confused on the pitch between 2 props.
I have an EVRA DRG Z3404//3/c 4.5 x 2.7 ie 54 x 32.4 inches
I also have a HRA 78 G ( 6'69) DRG HR 1201 4 A 4.75 X 2.45 ie 57 x 29.4
The Evra needs abit of touching up with paint, the HRA is very clean

Re: Prop
HI,
I have a HRA prop that's about 57 x 32.4 - It was a little bit fine for 1834vw on my FRED, but would have really improved it's climb performance.

Hi,
I've sent a private message......
Checked my nipper today, got the brakes working finally
couldn't fly due to the hangar doors stuck fast, as the ground has risen due to the frost!!!!

What's the next step then?
I'll fill out the mod1 proposal form when you have the compared the deflections.
Did you get some still pictures of the deflection test?
Cheers

Re: Is a Nipper for me??
Hi Monty, i can't say too much about the nipper, I've only had mine for a few months. I have very low hours, but found no problem flying the nipper - it's great fun. Short field performance is no problem - mine has the Jab engine, 6ft is no problem - again, mine can take a 6ft4 pilot. for weight and...
