Has anyone used GP's propeller hub with the 3degree crank fitting. The one i'm interested in is the one that fits straight onto the crank (3degree)without the extra bearing.
Whats the quality like etc?
My present hub is the original Hepu hub which is frightfully thin, need something stronger!

Thanks in advance
Regards
Glen

Glen,

Not familiar with the GP's hub but here is photo of the Rollason version common over here. It also has no extra bearing but is commonly used with 1834cc Vw conversions.
Agree that the Hepu version may not be up to the job, it was originally designed for an 1192cc conversion wasn't it?

Hi David,
Yes, the Hepu was approx 1200cc, here are photos of said hub.
I have a aliminium spacer between the prop and the hub to assist with exhaust clearance.
I believe the GP hub moves the hub 2 1/2 inches forward from the case.

I have a recently LAA approved 'Peacock' type hub drawing approved to fit on a untapered shaft if anyone is interested.
