GRP parts

Postby G-ARBG » Fri Feb 29, 2008 8:35 am

I have received the parts shown from a GRP expert keen to assist with my Nipper project. I now have a small quantity (eg spinner and fairings shown) of parts if anyone is interested. I also propose to have some cowlings made for both MK I and MKIII (probably vacuum moulded in carbon fibre).
Any one interested in the above can contact me for cost sharing.

Hi David

Although I have a spinner and backplate nearly ready to fit to XD, it's quite a large one off a Taylor monoplane, I am interested in your offer.
Does the spinner just fit over the prop bolts using the plate as security? or does the spinner require cutting to shape around the prop and require a front plate steady as well as a backplate.
New lightweight cowlings would be great as well.
What do you see the prices to be?

Cheers John

John,

Sorry about the delay but I thought a couple of photographs would give you all the information you require.

Regarding the price I am waiting on the supplier to provide me with set up costs which I hope to have shortly. Obviously the more interest the lower the cost will be.

I will be in touch as soon as I have further info.
