Great Plains Aviation Supply

Has anyone any recent experience of using Great Plains Aviation Supply in the US. I am looking to purchasing some VW engine parts (intake manifold and oil cooler mount) and have some cylinder head machining done. They have responded poorly to my recent emails and the phone seems to go to voice mail all the time.
