Wing step

Postby jhhturner » Tue May 04, 2010 7:15 am

The widow of the previous owner is kindly still trying to locate the drawings for my aircraft ,but in the meantime we could do with some help with our wing step .
Instead of being rectangular it angled into the wing at about 45o outboard. The trailing edge does not protrude behind the wing .
There are two large sprung ball bearings housed in the wing to locate the step.
What do the fittings in the step look like?

Hi

I might be able to help you. I built my Nipper (G-BLMW) which is a MkIIIb Slingsby variant and I to had to build a wing step. I think I still have the assembly drawing. Will try to dig it out.
Cheers
