Great plains engine
Hello Kat,
I think you are asking if anybody has yet fitted a Great Plains engine? Many of us use 1834cc capacity engines which are individually built. I am interested in the Great Plains engine because I want to retain the VW type but would like self start. Please keep this forum informed of any further information you obtain regarding this engine and its suitability for the Nipper. You may also be interested in the Sauer conversions. I will be at Friedrichsahven this April to view their product, maybe we can meet up?

Re: Great plains engine
Hi Guys,
I have just brought back a G'Plains 2180cc engine, but will be using Nicasil cylinders. Unfortunately I can see no means of using an electric starter due to the weight and space constraints.
